At St Wilfrid's School our vision for R.E is to explore big questions about life, to find out what people believe and what difference this makes to how they live, so that pupils can make sense of religion, reflecting on their own ideas and ways of living.
Our aim is to support pupils in their thinking - to listen, express, question, consider, evaluate and reflect on religious and moral ideas. To develop and promote skills that will help pupils in adulthood - empathy, understanding, respect - so that they make positive interactions with the world around them and the people in it.
