St Wilfrid's Update; National Lockdown
Dear Parents,
Following the government's announcement, St Wilfrid's School will be closed to most pupils, except for vulnerable children and young people and the children of critical workers.
To all our pupils, please do not stop learning and we will continue to support you. Google classroom and your emails will be your first port of call and allows two way communication and feedback. Make sure that you check them regularly and complete work as directed by staff. Parents will have also received invitations to join the google classrooms. I will send further information via email, particularly linked to learning and mental health and well being.
To our Year 11 students, unfortunately the upcoming GCSE exams in June and July have been cancelled. I will keep you updated on any developments as and when I receive them.
As a school, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their co-operation in such an uncertain time and I will continue to keep you up to date with any further guidance.
