Return to school; January 2021
Following the government's announcement regarding a staggered return to school, I can confirm the following dates for returning to school:
- Lower school (Reception - Year 6) - Return on Thursday 7th January
- Year 11 - Return on Monday 11th January
- Years 7, 8, 9 & 10 - Return on Monday 18th January
Online learning for Years 7 - 11 will recommence on Thursday 7th January. It will follow the normal school timetable and lesson times (please find attached) via Zoom and Google Classroom. Please can pupils check their school email accounts for Zoom meeting links and any set work on google classroom.
Each day will begin with a tutor time (Zoom) from 8.45am - 9.00am.
Parents of vulnerable pupils will be contacted by telephone and the pupils can come into school from Thursday 7th January.
Children of critical workers will be able to attend from Thursday 7th January. Please find attached a list of all critical workers. If you are a critical worker please inform us by Tuesday 5th January and provision will be made for your child(ren).
We anticipate the arrival of Lateral Flow Device (LFD) testing kits on Monday 4th January. We will be testing staff on Wednesday 6th January and then ask Year 11 pupils to come in on Friday 8th January at allocated times (separate information to follow). Our hope is to test all secondary pupils before their return to school date (more information to follow). Please find attached:
