The RSHE curriculum is designed to reflect many of the concerns young people have as they progress through school.
A variety of teaching and learning strategies are used that encourage participation and provide opportunities for pupils to develop critical thinking and relationship skills.
RSHE has three strands: Health and Well-being, Relationships and Living in the Wider World
Every child will be taught the RSHE curriculum which is evidence based and age appropriate and designed to help prepare pupils for opportunities, responsibilities and experience of adult life. RSHE addresses aspects of relationships and sex education alongside faith perspectives, equality law and advice from Public Health England which gives lessons a constructive context and perspective that helps give pupils a clear understanding of the wider social, moral and cultural implications of the decisions that they may make.
