Exeter College offers a wide range of courses and apprenticeships and students can choose those that reflect their individual ability, aspiration and interest. We have high expectations of our students who achieve excellent exam grades, outstanding training successes and brilliant music, sports, art and community achievements. Our tutorial and learner support programmes are designed to meet students’ needs, challenging them to reach their full potential. Over 60% of our 16-18 learners now come from outside Exeter.

The college is based across Exeter with sites in the city centre, at Monkerton, Sowton and Exeter Quayside. Our city centre sites are all well within walking distance of train stations, the bus station and the High Street. This includes our Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre, which offers a wide range of facilities including climbing wall, caving and sailing. Our city centre sites also offer cafes, a professional salon and spa, @34 restaurant, television studios and radio station, brand new sports hall and gym, art gallery, darkrooms and theatre performance space. Our out of city centre sites include the Technology Centre, Monkerton which specialises in Engineering, Aerospace and Automotive and Falcon House, Sowton, our Construction centre.
Caroline Earp is the Exeter College Adviser linked with St Wilfrid’s School. She regularly visits the school to offer information, advice and guidance to students considering joining Exeter College after their GCSEs. Caroline can answer questions on the wide variety of courses and apprenticeships on offer at Exeter College, plus course entry requirements, the application and interview processes, academies and student life.
