Your student report this week comes from Rebecca, Lucy and Tanisha.
At the start of the week the Hawks went off to the cinema to watch Diary of the Wimpy Kid. One of the children that went to watch this fantastic film described to us that the film was funny. Overall all the Hawks enjoyed it and it’s definitely a film to recommend to friends and family.
The year 8 and 9s went to see War Horse on Tuesday. We left at 9:00am and did not get back until 12:50, just in time for lunch. War Horse was a powerful, and emotional film, “it was a deeply, moving experience and really captured the chaos and destruction brought about by the First World War” said Ollie. Lucy commented, “We saw the war through the eyes of Joey the horse which was unusual, but captivating.”
In assembly this week we heard about the school fayre. This will be held on the 1st December. Each tutor group is responsible for a different stall:
- Year 11- Chocolate
- Year10-Things in a jar
- Year 9-Candles and Jewellery
- Year 8- Cakes
- Year 7-Unwanted gifts
- Year 6-Christmas Decorations
We all are working hard to prepare for this up coming event and are very excited about it.
