Year 10 GCSE PE – Fitness Testing

Year 10 have been visiting Exeter College as part of their GCSE PE course.

As part of GCSE PE the pupils have to know and understand the various different methods of fitness testing and have taken part in all the tests under the supervision of the staff at Exeter College.

The tests are:
Illinois Agility Test – Agility
The Stork Balance Test – Balance
The Multistage Fitness Test – Cardiovascular Endurance
The Wall Toss Test – Coordination
The Sit & Reach Test – Flexibility
The Sit-Up Bleep Test – Muscular Endurance
The Vertical Jump Test – Power & Explosive Strength
The Ruler Drop Test – Reaction Time
The One Rep Max Test – Maximal Strength
The 30m Sprint Test – Speed
Dynamometer Test – Strength
