World Book Day 2018

World Book Day 2018

A slightly delayed World Book Day due to the snow……but as can see the lower school pupils made a tremendous effort dressing as their favourite book characters. A huge thank you to Reverend Nigel and our Head Boy & Head Girl for judging the costumes.

Well done to all.

Images of St Wilfrid’s School from the past

It is always great to find images of St Wilfrid’s from the past.

The plaque, that stands in The Mint, marks where the sisters of St Wilfrid’s lived and where the school was originally located.

A swimming pool on the playground! I bet there are a few pupils, staff and parents that wish that was still the case.

The opening of St Wilfrid’s School at the St David’s Hill site in 1954. Led by Sister Maud and accompanied by the Bishop of Exeter.
